Requirements

Must:
- U.S. Citizenship and a valid U.S. Passport - 8 years of experience with a Bachelors in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or 5 years with a Masters degree; or 3 years with a PhD - Ability to document user guidance, technical procedures, and service levels for server infrastructure, geodatabases, enterprise services, and shared repository functions - Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise geospatial data systems for extensive, distributed user bases - Expertise in designing spatial data models and integrating geospatial data with business solutions like TAAMS or comparable authoritative registries - Familiarity with geospatial standards, metadata specifications, and NSDI/FGDC publishing guidelines - Background in safeguarding server environments and troubleshooting performance, access, and security issues - Absence of DWI offenses in the past 10 years and no criminal record concerning children

Responsibilities

- Offer Tier-2 and Tier-3 support, guidance, and service desk assistance for GIS coordinators and specialists utilizing Enterprise GIS databases and web mapping services - Create scripts to enhance geospatial processing, automate procedures, and fulfill stakeholder operational demands - Oversee and remedy security vulnerabilities in Portal, AWS geospatial frameworks, and similar systems - Establish and govern spatial database designs, business protocols, and workflows that synchronize with authoritative enterprise systems, such as TAAMS land status datasets - Manage and support enterprise servers and databases, including Microsoft Server environments, SQL Server, Access, and SCOM - Ensure compliance with FGDC standards and NSDI guidance while managing geospatial data according to departmental regulations and BOGS data policies - Prepare documentation for user instructions, technical methodologies, and service levels regarding server architecture, geodatabases, enterprise services, and communal repository operations
