Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship and an Active U.S. Passport
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or NATO Secret Clearance
- Five years of experience with a Bachelors degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or three years of experience with a Masters degree; or two years of experience with a PhD
- Over five years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- More than three years of experience in supporting large-scale cloud migrations from on-premise environments
- Experience in complex, large organizations (e.g., government, defense, or international settings)
- Demonstrated capability to manage stakeholders and facilitate technical decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with on-prem or air-gapped cloud environments
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Familiarity with enterprise frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT)
- Experience in multinational or defense settings (e.g., NATO, EU)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the NATO Enterprise Cloud Implementation Strategy, ensuring it aligns with mission goals and advancing technologies
- Provide architectural expertise and assess cloud design choices across enterprise initiatives
- Support significant cloud projects (e.g., enterprise networks and modernization efforts)
- Drive pilot initiatives to expedite cloud adoption while minimizing risks for large-scale implementations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to guarantee successful outcomes
- Act as a key intermediary among stakeholders, including technical teams, program leaders, and security entities
- Facilitate workshops and devise solutions for intricate technical challenges
- Present clear and actionable briefings to senior stakeholders and technical committees
