Requirements

Must:
- Extensive program/project management experience demonstrating successful project delivery across diverse teams - Significant expertise in Finance and Risk domains to effectively collaborate with leadership - Strong comprehension of Risk, Compliance, and Audit reporting frameworks, ensuring well-designed data integrations and solutions - Detail-oriented and deadline-focused with excellent organizational and analytical skills - Advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and analytical abilities - Familiarity with LEAN principles and practices is advantageous - Exceptional time management and meticulous attention to detail - Proficient verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly documenting findings, proposals, and project statuses - Capacity to engage and work directly with business leaders in both Technology and Finance sectors - Proven experience in implementing Risk, Compliance, or Audit applications is highly favorable - Strong leadership abilities, capable of influencing without formal authority - Experience resolving conflicts to achieve project objectives - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team settings - Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Awareness of ADO is preferred - 12+ years in managing extensive Finance or Risk Systems projects - PMI/PMP or Scrum certification - Deep understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies - 10+ years of experience engaging with leading ERP solutions (e.g., PeopleSoft; Oracle EBS; Oracle Cloud; Hyperion; Workday; or SAP) - 10+ years in Product Management, Project Management, or an equivalent capacity - Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with project sponsors, delivery teams, and stakeholders to provide quality solutions within stipulated timelines and budgets - Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project schedules, change control processes, and documentation - Partner with the Senior Director to address project dependencies, negotiate, and estimate delivery dates for milestones with stakeholders while ensuring timely project delivery - Identify and report project risks while offering actionable solutions or alternatives - Assess how requirements and design decisions may affect systems across various sectors - Track your teams progress on projects and key metrics, providing viable ideas to enhance product or project delivery - Utilize your knowledge of operational and LEAN practices to optimize organizational and team processes for improved efficiency - Preferably possess prior experience in the Financial Services sector with a solid grasp of Risk/Compliance and Audit applications - Coordinate project actions across various systems, departments, and teams - Apply your understanding of Risk/Compliance and Audit functions to assist with diverse implementations - Engage in collaboration throughout the complete software lifecycle - Use experience with various ERPs to modify existing applications or create new ones supporting GEICOs Finance division - Apply in-depth knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Audit, and Compliance to fulfill business needs - Work alongside product managers, team members, vendors, customers, and other engineering teams to tackle complex challenges - Represent technology during vendor tool selection phases, helping stakeholders find solutions that align with their and GEICOs needs
