Requirements

Must:
- I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred. - I possess over 10 years of experience in the development of embedded software. - I have at least 5 years of experience focusing on software security within embedded systems or avionics. - I have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on DO-178C Software Level A-C programs. - I am a U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

- I design, implement, and maintain strong cyber security measures for avionics software systems. - I conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for aviation software platforms. - I develop and enforce security policies and procedures that comply with aviation industry standards. - I strategize and support the execution of security testing, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, to meet customer and regulatory needs. - I collaborate with customers, systems engineering, and software teams to integrate security features into avionics systems. - I stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security technologies relevant to the aviation sector. - I ensure adherence to pertinent aviation security regulations (e.g., DO-326A, ED-202A). - I participate in security incident response and forensic analysis when necessary. - I evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance project results. - I drive productivity improvements by identifying and implementing best practices across diverse teams. - I develop and utilize Trade-Studies to guide decisions on emerging technologies that yield optimal outcomes. - I mentor technical teams throughout the software development life cycle, including all DO-178C activities. - I serve as an individual contributor with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of cultivating talent and providing guidance to new team members while working in an agile/scrum environment.

An extensive corporate relocation package is available for eligible candidates. The base pay range for this role is between $121,500 and $162,100. Specific pay may be influenced by factors such as experience, education, and skill set. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of the base salary. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, therefore applicants must be U.S. Citizens or have the legal capacity to access such information.
