Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an associates degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with at least 7 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Hands-on experience with ECAD tools; familiarity with Siemens ECAD tools and PLM integration is an advantage
- Knowledge of automation and cloud services, including Ansible, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, JFrog, and AWS
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java and Python, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Understanding of cybersecurity/compliance standards (DO-178, CMMC, Export Control)
- Familiarity with database design, query optimization, and integration for platforms such as MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle RDS, and Cassandra
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and drive innovation for engineering tools and database systems while ensuring adherence to necessary standards and regulations
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand requirements, devise solutions, and improve design efficiency
- Manage and support ECAD tools and infrastructure, including installation, configuration, debugging, and client/server issue resolution
- Integrate ECAD applications with enterprise systems including Windchill and Teamcenter PLM, as well as manage ECAD libraries and databases
- Automate workflows and CI/CD processes utilizing tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and JFrog; scripting in Java and Python
- Design and manage AWS environments for servers and workstations, as well as oversee licensing and identity management (LDAP/SAML)
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols and network fundamentals, aligning with company standards
- Maintain and enhance databases across various platforms including MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle RDS, and Cassandra
- Explore and implement new tools/technologies; provide training and documentation for engineering teams
- Support key applications such as Siemens Xpedition, EDM, HyperLynx, OneSim, Valor, Capital, Altium Designer, and Relyence
