Requirements

Must:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years in Engineering and Technology. - At least 5 years of experience in programming embedded software. - A minimum of 3 years of experience with C/ADA programming languages. - You must reside in or be willing to relocate to Grand Rapids, MI (An extensive corporate relocation package is available for eligible candidates). - U.S. citizenship status is required for this position.

Responsibilities

- Design and Development: You will architect and develop modules, components, features, or complete embedded software products. This includes areas such as networks, operating systems, cybersecurity, databases, or applications. - Technical Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise to execute policy and strategy, contributing to the Multi-Generational Technology Plan (MGTP) and the Multi-Generational Product Development Plan (MGPP). - Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex issues while maintaining a proven track record of meeting cost and schedule targets. Suggest innovative solutions beyond established parameters using your technical skills and analytical thinking. - Leadership: You will serve as a key individual contributor with outstanding interpersonal skills or as a budding people leader, responsible for hiring and developing talent. Provide informal guidance to new team members.
