Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years in a technology support role
- Preferred: 2-year technical degree
- Relevant Microsoft certifications for listed software
- Cisco certifications for LAN/WAN Networking
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and systems administration
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
- Ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously
- Strong prioritization skills for support requests
- Highly organized
- Process-driven
- Capacity to work independently
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for diverse technical inquiries via phone, email, or other channels
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware and software
- Investigate problems and propose solutions using available resources
- Adhere to standard help desk practices by tracking all service requests and incidents in our service desk software
- Maintain and update the service desk asset database
- Identify, investigate, document, and escalate complex situations requiring advanced technical proficiency
- Create, update, and manage resources for the IT knowledge base
- Train end users on software applications
- Oversee the service desk system for incident management and system monitoring
- Collaborate with the Systems Administrator on projects, updates, and server/network maintenance
