IT Applications and Systems Manager

- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Microsoft Business Central to facilitate finance, operations, and warehouse workflows. - Troubleshoot system challenges and collaborate with external vendors for improvements. - Enhance processes, data accuracy, permissions, and reporting within Business Central. - Support users across various departments to ensure high adoption and effective utilization of systems. - Manage Solochain configuration, workflows, and integrations for warehouse technology. - Assist with warehouse technology that interfaces with the WMS, including scanners, handheld devices, and label printers. - Collaborate with vendors and the external IT partner for issues related to connectivity or infrastructure. - Drive enhancements in warehouse accuracy and throughput. - Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Power BI or similar tools. - Maintain data connections between Business Central, Solochain, and business intelligence platforms. - Work alongside leadership to define metrics and reporting standards. - Act as the primary internal point of contact for IT issues, escalation, and communication. - Ensure clear articulation of business requirements and priorities. - Support planning for software licensing, renewals, and business systems-related hardware. - Evaluate service quality and contribute to ongoing improvements. - Aid in system integrations associated with expansion, new facilities, or acquisitions. - Document workflows and help standardize processes throughout the organization. - Assist in onboarding new teams or locations into existing systems. - Provide tier-1 and tier-2 support for Business Central, Solochain, and business applications. - Create user manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials. - Train new and existing staff on essential systems and best practices.
