Requirements
Must:
- 3–7+ years of experience in cabinet and millwork project management, preferably in custom or commercial sectors
- Comprehensive knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, materials, and finishes
- Competence in reading and interpreting architectural and shop drawings
- Background in working with commercial construction teams and job sites
- Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Capability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong emphasis on quality and deadlines
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or similar design software (preferred)
- Familiarity with AIA Billing and Textura (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of cabinet and millwork projects, from contract initiation to final closure
- Assess architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and scope
- Collaborate with designers, architects, general contractors, and internal production teams
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and material takeoffs
- Supervise submittals, approvals, and modifications
- Coordinate the procurement process for materials, hardware, and finishes
- Conduct site visits to evaluate installation progress and maintain quality
- Proactively address field issues, discrepancies, and conflicts
- Monitor project costs and profitability; provide regular updates on project status
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, codes, and company protocols
- Handle punch lists and manage project closeout documentation
