Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- I possess strong collaboration and project management skills to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
- I have a minimum of three years of experience in SharePoint Site Administration and management.
- I have prior administration experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
Desired Qualifications:
- I have previous administrator experience with Windows servers, including IIS.
- I have a background in website/intranet development.
- I possess experience with PowerShell scripting.
- I have previously managed intranet sites in a higher education environment.
- I demonstrate excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- I have strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- I manage and configure SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and workflows to fulfill the organization’s needs.
- I provide technical support and training for users on SharePoint Online functionalities and best practices.
- I implement and maintain security and permissions for SharePoint Online, ensuring data integrity and adherence to organizational standards.
- I oversee the creation, organization, and upkeep of content on the intranet, ensuring it remains relevant and current.
- I collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate SharePoint Online with various systems and tailor the platform to enhance user experience.
- I monitor SharePoint Online performance and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption.
- I maintain thorough documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures related to the administration of SharePoint Online.
- I coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure the SharePoint content aligns with brand messaging and overall MarCom strategies.
- I customize and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, permissions, and security settings.
- I explore industry best practices for intranet development, content management, security, and overall management.
- I engage with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features for SharePoint Online.
- I lead and manage projects associated with SharePoint/intranet initiatives.
- I perform other tasks as assigned.
Description
I am seeking a SharePoint Administrator for an administrative role within our organization, offering a competitive annual salary ranging from $68,302.43 to $75,132.67. It’s essential to note that while we can support some hybrid scheduling, this is not a remote position. This role is integral to the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our SharePoint Online environment, ensuring efficient intranet operations, and facilitating collaboration and communication throughout the organization. Additionally, I will administer other Office 365 applications like Microsoft Teams and OneDrive as needed. My leadership approach reflects an understanding of the cultural dynamics within our diverse workplace. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including additional on-call availability as needed.
