Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or a combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of experience in IT project management
- Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management or technical project management within a technology-focused organization (preferred)
- 5+ years of utilizing Agile/SCRUM methodology for technology implementation (preferred)
- Proven success in launching websites or web-based applications and functionalities (preferred)
- Technologically adept with the ability to quickly learn new technologies (preferred)
- Experience with content management systems (AEM experience preferred)
- Experience using workflow tools (Jira experience preferred)
- Strong collaboration and prioritization skills across various stakeholders (preferred)
- Experience working with local and geographically dispersed team members and/or in multi-vendor environments (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with UX designers and digital producers to identify new development features, enhancements, and issues
- Convey requirements to developers/engineers for proper scoping, estimating, and assigning efforts
- Spearhead the Agile/Scrum development process, including sprint planning, estimating, and backlog meetings
- Engage in the complete project lifecycle from estimation to execution, covering strategy, inception, development, quality assurance, and delivery
- Generate project status reports for leadership, highlighting risks, milestones, team velocity, burn rates, and next steps
- Provide weekly updates to the project team to monitor team performance, including successes, requests, risks, dependencies, and lessons learned
- Communicate effectively, setting clear expectations and developing process documentation while managing personal workload and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Anticipate potential issues and work on risk mitigation and escalations with implementation teams to prevent setbacks
- Act as the main point of contact for developers/engineers to disseminate necessary information
- Analyze user story changes to assist the development process and communicate expectations to relevant stakeholders
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, assigning work priorities in partnership with the UX, Design & Development team leadership
- Take responsibility for working with developers to drive issue investigation and resolution
- Participate in vendor selection when outsourcing and manage deliverables, including SOWs and change management
- Engage in regular process review and improvement initiatives
