Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in configuring, supporting, or resolving issues with VOIP systems - In-depth knowledge of VOIP protocols such as SIP, H.323, and MGCP - Proficient in utilizing packet captures (PCAPs) for diagnosing and troubleshooting VOIP calls - Strong understanding of telecommunications equipment and services beyond VOIP - Familiarity with tools like VOIP Monitor and Wireshark - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service - Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases - Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and maintain relevant qualifications and training

Responsibilities

- Design, configure, deploy, test, troubleshoot, and monitor advanced VoIP and data solutions - Provide exceptional remote support to field-based teams, adhering to industry and organizational standards - Conduct fault analysis and investigation to ensure operational continuity - Engage in proactive monitoring to comply with service level agreements - Lead training initiatives for Tier 1 Support Engineers to uphold service excellence - Serve as the primary escalation point for complex VOIP support issues - Deliver personalized customer service while managing inquiries via various communication channels - Resolve cases reported through phone, email, or internal ticketing system - Conduct live fault finding with customers for first-time fixes - Work on open cases ensuring timely resolution within designated SLAs - Oversee and manage technical projects from initiation to completion - Configure and pre-build voice and data solutions prior to customer installation - Ensure thorough documentation is prepared and stored appropriately - Participate in on-call rotations, offering support during emergencies outside regular hours - Foster effective working relationships with team members and colleagues - Provide training and development to team members as needed - Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs
