Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in product management or similar roles, particularly with complex enterprise or government-facing products
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, utilizing a data-driven methodology
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record in influencing cross-functional teams
- Understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) mission requirements, acquisition processes, and technical specifications including familiarity with FAR/DFARS and compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC)
- Technical proficiency in APIs, AI/ML, data models, architecture, and scaling, with a collaborative mindset for engineering engagement
- Strong focus on customer needs, experienced in gathering insights via interviews, research, and usability testing, particularly with high-stakes user demographics
- Knowledgeable about agile/lean methodologies and current product development practices
- Active security clearance preferred; must be able to secure and maintain U.S. security clearance (required)
Responsibilities
- Drive the product vision and roadmap for capabilities that support the Department of War, ensuring alignment with operational demands and evolving defense priorities
- Transform user insights, field requirements, and program goals into clear product guidance and measurable results
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to create secure, reliable, and high-quality products tailored for mission effectiveness
- Manage the product lifecycle to ensure ongoing reliability, support, and continuous enhancement of mission-critical capabilities
- Establish success metrics, assess performance, and adjust product strategies based on data analysis, user feedback, and mission outcomes
- Relay updates and strategic recommendations to executives and government stakeholders, advocating for military users perspectives throughout the organization
