Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration
- Practical understanding of IT best practices related to security, backups, networking, and system management
- Strong attention to detail in documentation
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly advantageous
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are beneficial, but practical experience and sound judgment are prioritized
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular alignment assessments of client networks, systems, and processes against industry best practices and Fort44 standards
- Document findings clearly, identifying risks, deficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement
- Implement services and hardware to align client infrastructure with established standards
- Assist in project planning and execution
- Collaborate with the vCIO and service delivery teams to prioritize remediation initiatives, ensuring alignment issues are addressed practically and sustainably
- Educate clients on the robustness of their technology, as well as potential risks, using straightforward language for recommendations
- Contribute to the development of client technology roadmaps that foster long-term stability and minimize recurring support challenges
- Keep updated with relevant technologies, standards, and best practices to enhance alignment services
