Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in technical support roles focusing on computer management and troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows and Windows Server, with some familiarity in macOS. - Proficiency in network concepts including LAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and basic networking protocols. - Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems for efficient incident tracking. - Excellent communication skills to articulate technical solutions to non-technical users clearly. - Ability to troubleshoot software issues across Microsoft Office applications and other enterprise solutions. - Knowledge of computer hardware components and maintenance best practices. - Experience with IT infrastructure components such as switches, routers, and servers is an advantage. - Adaptability to new technologies with a commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement. - Certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900).

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive technical assistance for computer hardware, software applications, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and network infrastructure. - Troubleshoot and rectify issues related to computer management, desktop support, VPN connectivity, firewalls, and IT infrastructure elements. - Manage help desk tickets utilizing tools like ConnectWise to document incidents and monitor resolutions effectively. - Assist users with software troubleshooting, including the Microsoft Office suite and other enterprise applications. - Support network connectivity issues involving LAN/WIFI, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and firewall configurations. - Conduct diagnostics and repairs for hardware including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other computer components. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolutions while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
