Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience as a designer with a technical focus or a developer with a design inclination.
- A portfolio showcasing aesthetically pleasing, intuitive, and innovative features or products you have delivered.
- Strong capabilities in visual design and UI/UX principles, with the ability to create, evaluate, and approve designs independently.
- Proficiency in software prototyping, having developed scalable and accessible products or features with or without coding support.
- Familiarity and expertise with design and development tools, ideally with a deep understanding of either design or development technologies (or both).
- Experience using design tools like Figma, particularly in creating design systems and components for rapid iteration.
- Competency in development tools such as Git, IDEs, and integrating AI-assisted coding environments.
- Knowledge of languages and frameworks including Typescript, Tailwind, React, and ShadCN.
- Experience in conducting user-facing discovery and validation processes.
- Preferable: background in designing or building developer tools.

Responsibilities
- Enhance the developer experience for users across all interactions with our products and the company.
- Influence product strategy and direction while consistently advocating for the interests of developers.
- Engage directly with users to gain insights through fast-paced product and design discovery and validation.
- Utilize AI to augment your workflow and enhance your unique human skills.
- Maintain and elevate the products aesthetic quality and interaction design with a distinctive style.
- Document processes and quickly create and refine designs from low to high fidelity.
- Code directly to iterate designs rapidly, bypassing traditional design tools when necessary.
- Build functional prototypes and MVPs for both internal and external users to test and interact with.
- Collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to drive UI/UX/DX decisions from concept to successful product launch and user engagement.
- Approach user needs with curiosity and empathy, focusing on problems we can solve in the data and development realm.
