Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support within a corporate setting; experience in retail is a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows 11 and MacOS networking concepts.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills are crucial.
- Willingness to participate in rotating after-hours on-call support for all sites.
- Solid understanding of PC hardware, including printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as cabling types, IP addresses, and WiFi.
- Friendly and accommodating demeanor while assisting end users in a stressful retail environment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced IT setting, with flexibility to work across various technologies.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills while ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Industry certifications like A+, Network+, MCP, MCSE, or CCNA are considered advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, M365, patch management, anti-malware, and desktop imaging techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support to end users (corporate, ship center, field, consultants).
- Possess robust experience in Active Directory.
- Demonstrate expertise in installing and supporting Microsoft Office applications.
- Manage tickets and follow-up actions within an enterprise ticketing system such as Service Now.
- Serve as an escalation point for team members needing assistance with requests or incidents.
- Analyze technical support trends, identify root causes, and propose solutions to issues promptly.
- Participate in Asset Management of IT equipment and software licensing to ensure proper accountability.
- Assist in assigned audit tasks to uphold a secure and compliant environment.
- Conduct imaging and advanced troubleshooting for various endpoints (laptops, desktops, kiosks, mobiles/tablets).
- Diagnose and rectify hardware, software, and network issues for Executives and VIPs.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of computers (PC, VDI, Laptop, Mac) and peripherals.
- Understand hardware, software, and TCP/IP networking principles along with basic telephony and web design concepts.
- Oversee endpoint security management through SCCM, Intune, and patch management tools, including software updates and antivirus management.
- Offer conference room support, troubleshooting AV equipment, connectivity, and collaboration software issues.
- Manage several vendor relationships effectively.
- Diagnose and resolve computer hardware issues and open warranty tickets.
- Install, configure, and support VPN access for remote users.
- Resolve issues related to LAN/WAN, VoIP telephony, video systems, and coordinate with Systems/Networking support teams.
- Conduct troubleshooting in enterprise Mac OS systems (Jamf).
- Complete other duties as assigned.
