Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years experience in developing data-related solutions and software
- Over 5 years of experience with relational databases in various applications, including Microsoft Azure
- At least 2 years of experience with multiple cloud technologies in the Microsoft Stack (Azure IaaS and PaaS) and familiarity with alternative cloud technologies
- A minimum of 2 years in designing and developing both on-premises and cloud-based (Azure) infrastructure
- Over 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud using T-SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) and/or Extract/Load/Transform (ELT) tools, including both batch and real-time applications like SSIS, Informatica, Kafka, and Spark
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python, SQL, Scala, or similar
- Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure standards and monitoring tools like IT service management and DevOps software
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Utilize Agile practices to gather and refine requirements through iterative planning and collaboration with business intelligence or IT teams
- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain integration tools, databases, analytics systems, and data warehouses
- Design, implement, and execute data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using diverse sources including databases and APIs
- Create and deploy structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data storage models to meet organization needs
- Collaborate on security, application monitoring, tooling, and related capabilities with relevant teams
- Provide operational support and incident management for data pipelines and flows, keeping internal clients informed of status changes and issues
- Draft and sustain accurate documentation for all processes, procedures, and technical designs
- Mentor junior data and business intelligence team members, including developing training materials to enhance their technical skills
