Requirements

Must:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance; ship required - Bachelors degree in a STEM-related discipline - At least 8 years of relevant experience in FPGA or digital design - Proven experience with VHDL or Verilog - Familiarity with FPGA platforms such as AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or Microchip (Altera preferred) - Skilled in using synthesis tools including Vivado, Quartus, or Synplify - Experience with timing closure and debugging tools like Chipscope and SignalTap - Capability in developing FPGA requirements and design documentation - Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deliver production-quality FPGA solutions from inception through to production - Convert system-level requirements into specific FPGA design criteria - Code and implement designs utilizing VHDL with an emphasis on reliability and maintainability - Conduct design verification employing self-checking methods, directed and constrained random testing, and coverage analysis - Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineers to ensure effective integration and delivery - Provide support for technical reviews and generate documentation such as requirements, verification plans, and user guides - Participate in technical decision-making related to approaches and overall system design - Mentor junior engineers and occasionally lead small technical teams
