Requirements
Must:
- Several years of practical IT support experience in corporate settings
- Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows Server management
- Understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and switching
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity challenges
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage directly with users
- Capacity to manage multiple support tickets while maintaining high attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to end users via phone, remote support, and on-site visits
- Diagnose and resolve workstation problems including Windows configurations, software issues, and performance concerns
- Maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, licensing, Exchange, and basic security settings
- Assist with Windows Server management, including Active Directory, file services, group policies, and user administration
- Identify and fix network connectivity challenges concerning switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPNs
- Deploy and set up new workstations, hardware, and business-related applications
- Install and update endpoint protection as well as system updates
- Support business applications utilized by clients
- Keep precise documentation of client systems, configurations, and support activities
- Escalate complex challenges when necessary while continuing to assist in troubleshooting
