Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience in application software programming or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in application software programming
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Solid design and development experience with JEE and enterprise technologies including JMS, JDBC, web development, transactions, WS-*, JVM, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JNDI, JMX, JTA, Spring, JUnit, and Hibernate
- Proven capability in building SpringBoot microservices
- Experience developing applications utilizing container architectures with Kubernetes orchestration
- Preferred experience in public API development and using API Gateway services like APIGEE
- Comprehensive understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features, closures, and asynchronous programming
- Experience in Agile environments with a thorough understanding of daily Agile routines
- Demonstrated expertise in building user interfaces with React.js
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
- Knowledge of the React component lifecycle and pertinent best practices
- Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Capability to interact with REST APIs for data fetching and manipulation
- Competence in version control using GITLAB
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Oracle Database systems
- Understanding of fundamental UI/UX design principles
- Previous experience in a regulated financial organization is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain user interface components and web applications using React.js
- Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly documented code in line with industry best practices
- Engage in all stages of the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, developers, testers, and other cross-functional teams to shape and unleash innovative solutions
- Utilize knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) toolchain to enhance automation and efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues by debugging and troubleshooting code problems
- Identify and implement strategies for optimizing application performance
- Conduct unit and integration testing, and possibly contribute to automated testing frameworks
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for the codebase and associated functionalities
- Potentially mentor junior engineers, contributing to the technical growth of the team
