Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Excellent ability to convey technical information clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong design and development experience with JEE and enterprise technologies such as JMS, JDBC, Web development, transactions, WS-*, JVM, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JNDI, JMX, JTA, Spring, JUnit, Hibernate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in building SpringBoot microservices
- Familiarity with container architecture using Kubernetes orchestration
- Preferred experience in public API development and utilizing API gateways like APIGEE
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ features, Loopback, closures, and asynchronous programming
- Experience working on Agile projects, along with a comprehensive understanding of daily Agile routines
- Proven ability in creating user interfaces with React.js
- Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or MobX
- Understanding of the React component lifecycle and associated best practices
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
- Ability to interact with REST APIs and manage data fetching and manipulation
- Proficient in using GitLab for version control
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Oracle Database systems
- Understanding of basic UI/UX design principles
- Prior experience in a regulated financial organization is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions that align with user requirements regarding functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Manage proactive maintenance of our existing IaaS/SaaS and on-premise applications within Digital Banking, Mobile, along with integrations for Cards, Merchant Services, Payments, Foreign Exchange, Core Banking, and Trade Finance to maintain stability in mission-critical systems
- Coordinate and assist in troubleshooting code defects, data discrepancies, and configuration issues to identify the root cause of application errors
- Provide robust support for business-critical and complex applications
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine suitable actions
- Optional experience as a technical lead for small to medium-sized projects
- Promote best practices and guideline implementations while adhering to established standards
- Demonstrate expertise in designing and developing real-time integrations and file-based integrations, optimizing database-level processing
- Cultivate empathy for developers, aiming to enhance the developer experience
- Passionately create elegant, maintainable, and thoroughly documented secure code
- Engage in abstraction and refactoring as a rewarding activity
- Foster a commitment to continuous learning and exceeding expectations
- Continuously strive for self-improvement and provide constructive support to the team
- May mentor junior engineers, contributing to the teams technical advancement

This fully remote role is available to candidates located in Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, or Texas. Our team specializes in delivering technology solutions in Digital Banking, Core Banking, Credit/Charge/Debit Cards, and Foreign Exchange. We seek an individual with the capability to provide technical guidance, estimate efforts, and decide on optimal technology solutions that align with business needs. Youll be involved in developing and supporting digital banking solutions/projects, ensuring that our mission-critical systems remain stable and scalable while navigating through challenges efficiently.
