Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with 8+ years in application development, analysis, or engineering, or
- High School Diploma or GED with 12+ years in application development, analysis, or engineering
- 10+ years leading multi-channel engineering teams
- Extensive experience with React.js and Flutter
- Strong knowledge of Backbase/Q2/Temenos accelerators
- Proficiency in responsive design and component architecture
- Solid understanding of API consumption patterns
- Experience managing cross-functional pods at scale
- Expertise in CI/CD for UI using tools like Cypress, Detox, AppCenter
- Practical experience with mobile app deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with digital identity, session management, and security practices
- Proven experience scaling mobile/web applications to millions of monthly active users
- Banking domain knowledge concerning transactions, payments, and servicing is a plus
- Awareness of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with design systems such as Storybook and Figma
- Familiarity with hybrid orchestrators and UI modelers
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to ascertain business needs and align IT strategy
- Identify future requirements and industry trends; oversee IT projects and products
- Allocate project tasks, manage schedules, oversee product releases, and relay updates to parties involved
- Set and track performance expectations to achieve departmental and organizational goals
- Adapt IT policies, standards, procedures, and efficiencies to meet company objectives
- Supervise the training, performance, and assessment of assigned staff, ensuring professional development opportunities
- Serve as a technical authority and strategic advisor to senior management and business units
- Guarantee compliance with configuration, change controls, and security standards during team activities
- Engage in business discussions and special initiatives to provide insights on user needs
- Stay updated on industry trends and hold vendors accountable for system maintenance and updates
