Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Preferred experience with Hogan Core Banking, Debit and Credit Cards
- Proficient in Hogan software (CIS, RPM, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella)
- Advanced skills in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, Easytrieve, and JCL
- Familiarity with Changeman source code repository is advantageous
- Experience with ServiceNow or another IT ticketing system
- Strong ability to build collaborative and effective relationships
- Comprehensive knowledge of System Development Life Cycle methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
- Previous banking experience is preferred
- Willingness to be on call 24/7 on a rotating schedule
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance departmental systems, processes, and applications through various actions
- Utilize programming specifications to construct modules, develop testing methods, and design materials
- Provide time estimates for new feature implementations and assist in modifications
- Execute test plans to verify that application functions align with design specifications
- Collect data concerning user requests to assess scope, time estimates, and system impacts
- Review business specifications, programming details, coding accuracy, test plans, and documentation
- Address reported issues to provide technical support for production systems
- Anticipate maintenance needs to ensure ongoing system functionality for end users
- Draft documentation for system, end user, and operational purposes, including technical specs and application designs
- Engage deeply in the software development life cycle, contributing to software creation, enhancement, and evaluation
- Act as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units
- Provide on-call support 24/7 via rotational assignments

The base pay for this position in North Carolina is between $117,409 and $130,000, dependent on skills, experience, and location.
