Senior CIAM Solutions Designer

- Design comprehensive CIAM and fraud-aware identity solutions including: - Authentication and federation using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML. - Okta Identity Engine for adaptive, risk-based authentication. - Universal Directory for managing customer identity profiles and attributes. - Multi-factor authentication, step-up, and recovery procedures. - Create identity flows that incorporate fraud signals into: - Digital onboarding and identity verification processes. - Login and re-authentication experiences. - High-risk transaction scenarios and step-up actions. - Develop clear and consumable solution design artifacts, such as architecture diagrams, sequence flows, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements. - Design integrations between Okta CIAM and various systems including: - Mobile and web banking platforms. - API gateways and backend services. - Fraud decision engines and monitoring systems. - Customer data and CRM solutions. - Ensure that solutions accommodate high-volume, low-latency digital traffic with necessary resilience and failover capabilities. - Balance security measures with a friction-aware customer experience. - Collaborate with Fraud Operations to enable effective monitoring and resolution of issues. - Embed security-by-design, privacy-by-design, and compliance-by-default principles in all solutions. - Guarantee alignment with financial services regulations pertaining to Strong Customer Authentication, data protection, and fraud prevention. - Oversee the secure management of credentials, secrets, encryption, tokens, and keys. - Participate in design governance, threat modeling, audits, and regulatory assessments. - Collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to: - Translate designs into epics, features, and backlog items. - Offer ongoing design assurance throughout the build and testing phases. - Address design trade-offs and integration challenges. - Ensure CIAM and fraud solutions are implementable, testable, and resilient. - Contribute to reusable patterns, reference architectures, and playbooks for identity and fraud initiatives. - Serve as the CIAM & Fraud solution design authority within project initiatives and delivery teams. - Work collaboratively with Product, UX, Fraud, Cyber Security, Risk, and Operations teams to align designs with expected outcomes. - Clearly convey technical solutions, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
