Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree with 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance - Preferred degree in Computer Science - Preferred experience with MS.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Scripting, and Powershell Scripting - Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML5, XML - Advanced experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository systems - Advanced experience with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems - Strong ability to foster collaborative and productive relationships - In-depth understanding of System Development Life Cycle methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) - Availability for 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis

Responsibilities

- Enhance systems by evaluating and refining departmental processes, systems, and applications - Utilize programming specifications to build modules, create testing methods, and design relevant materials - Provide time estimates for new features in system modifications and assist with implementing changes - Execute testing plans to confirm application functionalities match requirements - Collect and analyze data on user requests to assess scope, time estimates, and system impacts - Review business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy - Deliver technical support for production systems by addressing reported issues and anticipating maintenance needs - Create documentation for system use, end-user guidance, and operational procedures, including technical specifications and application designs - Engage deeply in the software development life cycle, overseeing creation, enhancement, implementation, and evaluation of software - Act as a technical advisor for management, associates, and business units - Provide round-the-clock on-call support through scheduled rotations
