Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field and 8 years of experience in software application development OR High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of experience in software application development
- At least 5 years of experience with a major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in agile teams
- At least 5 years of experience with front-end programming languages (e.g., REACT, Node.js)
- Previous experience collaborating with program and project delivery teams
- 3-5 years of experience in Domain Driven Design
- Proven capability to make lasting architectural decisions
- Architecture certifications in AWS or Azure preferred
- Experience in developing microservices
- Familiarity with managing containerized workloads
- Background in retail/corporate digital banking or fintech is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of API design, middleware platforms, and microservices
- Experience with third-party vendor integration and orchestration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and modern DevOps practices
- Working knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance in the financial services sector
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to create and convey technical documentation clearly and effectively
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee CIAM and Fraud solution architectures for digital banking projects including mobile and online banking platforms
- Produce high-quality architectural artifacts (diagrams, models, decision records) to support alignment and implementation
- Lead design reviews and provide architectural guidance during the development process
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish integration strategies between internal systems and external platforms
- Ensure robust middleware and API designs promoting scalability, security, reusability, and adaptability
- Facilitate seamless vendor integration with banking platforms and services
- Work with business stakeholders to grasp their needs and translate them into feasible technical solutions
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor to product owners, engineers, and leadership
- Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
- Lead or participate in technical and security reviews
- Coach and guide development teams on technical patterns, best practices, and architecture standards
- Foster cross-functional alignment and coordination across delivery teams
- Assess and recommend tools to enhance architecture governance, monitoring, and automation
- Contribute to advancing the architecture practices and delivery methodologies
