Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar version control systems
- Advanced expertise with ServiceNow or comparable IT service management tools
- Proven capability to resolve conflicting situations to advance processes and team dynamics
- Profound knowledge of System Development Life Cycle methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
- Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET, SQL Scripting, PowerShell Scripting, and Angular
- Strong understanding of .NET Microservices, OpenShift, and Kubernetes
- Previous experience as a contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank
Responsibilities
- Directs team initiatives to assess and enhance department systems, processes, and applications
- Utilizes programming specifications to create modules, develop testing protocols, and assist in crafting training documentation
- Designs and implements test plans to confirm application functionalities
- Creates system alterations that align with the existing architecture
- Offers technical assistance to production systems by tackling complex issues and projecting maintenance needs for user satisfaction
- Develops tailored solutions for unique system challenges
- Oversees significant projects, assigns responsibilities, and guarantees quality outcomes
- Mentors and trains team members using technical expertise
- Engages in special projects and meetings to share essential technical knowledge
- Acts as a technical resource for management, colleagues, and business units
- Gathers data related to user requests, assessing scope, time projections, and system impacts
- Reviews business and programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation strategies for precision
Description
This is a remote position available to candidates located in North Carolina or Maryland. At First Citizens Bank, we are responsible for managing all aspects of data processing system projects—from defining requirements to installation. We lead technical initiatives in developing, implementing, and maintaining intricate systems, while also preparing test plans and procedures to enhance processing capabilities.
