Lead Data Engineer (DataStage)

- Lead team initiatives to assess and enhance department systems, processes, and applications, leveraging programming specifications to create modules, establish testing methods, and assist in developing training materials - Provide technical support to production systems by resolving complex issues, predicting maintenance needs, and ensuring user functionality - Utilize expertise to mentor and educate team members, participating in special projects and meetings to offer essential technical insights - Collect and analyze data related to user requests to ascertain scope, time estimates, and system impacts while reviewing business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for precision - Collaborate with architects and development teams to comprehend data requirements, implement design patterns, construct reusable Data Pipelines/frameworks, design new tables/queries, and ensure compliance with bank standards - Develop complex solutions for data integration, cleansing, transformation, and control, while managing data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependencies, and workload management - Lead efforts with technology partners and stakeholders to address gaps in data management standards, creatively negotiate solutions to complex problems, and leverage knowledge of information systems, techniques, and processes
