Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience in Software application development OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Software application development
- 15+ years of architecture experience is strongly preferred
- Expertise in Deep Domain Data Design
- Familiarity with event-driven patterns
- Proficiency in microservices decomposition
- Experience with API contract versioning
- Knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Understanding of security architecture
- Ability to manage cross-domain dependencies
- Experience leading Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience in modernizing legacy platforms is preferred
- Knowledge of banking/fintech is a plus, with the ability to establish standards beyond just diagram creation
Responsibilities
- Lead solution development efforts by collaborating with a team on specific projects
- Propose technology solutions and perform application programming and integration through research on alternatives; troubleshoot deployment problems, develop programs, integrate solutions, and engage in technical design tasks as necessary
- Serve as a consultant to the business unit, management, and team members throughout all stages of integration systems development; act as a trusted advisor for strategies regarding the integration of technology components
- Ensure timely completion of project tasks with high-quality standards; work with other team members on detailed design, development, and integration testing
- Maintain a strong understanding of available technologies, tools, and designs to provide consulting services and leverage tech within the organization; offer direction, training, and guidance to less experienced staff
