Data Architect (Principal, cloud-oriented)

- Spearhead the development of an enterprise-wide data management strategy and architectural vision - Create and execute a data management roadmap that aligns high-level business objectives with practical application solutions - Provide expert technical guidance for the Banks annual investments in various data technology sectors, including infrastructure, architecture, management, integration, and analytics - Foster collaborative relationships within IT and with business stakeholders, offering insights and advice to advance enterprise data architecture decisions - Advise application development teams on data-related matters and collaborate with business partners to ensure critical concepts are accurately represented in data while addressing complex challenges - Articulate a clear vision for IT management and senior technical personnel to maximize the effectiveness of both commercially acquired and developed technologies - Offer thought leadership in data architecture to cross-functional teams, emphasizing advanced data techniques such as modeling, access, integration, visualization, discovery, statistical methods, and database design - Partner in the design of enterprise data solutions, plan technology migrations, evaluate vendors or products, and oversee solution integration - Design and uphold conceptual data infrastructures that promote quality, stewardship, integration, migration, and system collaboration in alignment with business models and information needs - Develop comprehensive documentation of the data infrastructure blueprint, detailing enterprise data locations, flows, and availability for organizational use - Establish standards, policies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure proper data asset management, including definitions, formats, and expectations for storage, integration, and utilization to maintain high data quality and reliability
