At First American Bankcard, Inc. (FABI), we seek a qualified candidate for our team who embodies friendliness, patience, and supportiveness. You should possess the capability to multitask accurately while maintaining a keen eye for detail. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, along with a solid technical understanding of network and PC operating systems. Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development is essential, as well as a strong grasp of data privacy practices and laws. Familiarity with project management principles is important, and certifications such as ITIL Foundation and CompTIA A+ are advantageous. Additionally, you must obtain and maintain licensing in various gaming jurisdictions across the country, including but not limited to state, province, and tribal authorities.
Responsibilities
In your role, you'll aid in managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all IT systems associated with our Kiosk Division, which encompasses servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. You'll assist in resolving queries via support calls, emails, chats, and other communications regarding our Kiosk products. Research on potential technology solutions to support our procurement efforts will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will contribute to ensuring the operation's profitability by reviewing and analyzing financial reports, invoices, and other necessary documents. You’ll guide customers through established diagnostic and troubleshooting processes while contributing to the documentation of these processes as needed. Lastly, your role may require travel for installations and training across the country and, at times, internationally. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays on an on-call basis as needed is required.
Description
As part of this position, you will need to traverse distances within large casinos during installations while also being able to remain stationary during training sessions. You will be expected to operate electronic devices routinely, including computers, printers, and phones, while positioning yourself to work on the insides and outsides of kiosks, ATMs, and other equipment. Clear communication of information and ideas is crucial, as you need to exchange accurate information in various situations. You'll be observing and inspecting details closely, and you should be capable of moving boxes that weigh up to 30 lbs for equipment installations.
