Requirements
Must:
- One-year certificate from a college or technical institution or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant IT experience or a combination of education and experience
- A+ Certification or practical experience in help desk or IT support preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, and ChromeOS
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and fundamental user account management
- Understanding of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with imaging tools and device setup
- Knowledgeable in audio-visual equipment like speakers, microphones, and mixers
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Valid Arizona fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass a 39-month DMV history check
- Willingness to travel independently to multiple AAED campuses
- Capability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to function in busy educational settings
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix technology-related issues involving hardware, software, networks, and AV tools
- Offer technical assistance to staff and students at various locations
- Configure, deploy, and maintain computers, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Travel between AAED campuses and affiliated organizations to fulfill onsite technology needs
- Aid in basic network maintenance and resolve connectivity issues
- Ensure confidentiality and security of electronic records and systems
- Assist in tracking inventory of technology assets
- Provide fundamental training and support to staff and students on technology use
- Log problems, solutions, and equipment usage as needed
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols
- Engage in professional development and required training sessions
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support organizational functions
