Sr. Data Engineer

We are looking for candidates who bring the following expertise and skills: - 5+ years in enterprise application development, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support - 5+ years of development experience in database development - Proficiency in writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Oracle environment - A solid background in developing applications for Aurora Postgres, Oracle RDS, or similar - Strong data background in schema design, including tables, indexes, 3rd normal form, and denormalization to optimize performance - 1+ year of Snowflake experience is a strong plus - Salesforce development experience is a strong plus - Familiarity with AWS Cloud environments - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies - Knowledge of application web server technologies - Strong hands-on understanding of scripting - Experience and/or certification with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure is a plus - Knowledge of Informatica and/or ETL tools - 5+ years of Java development experience, focusing on microservices, Lambda, and database applications - 2+ years in Python and/or PySQL development experience - AWS developer certification - Hands-on experience with API development for large-scale, continuously available enterprise-class platforms - Unix shell scripting experience is a plus - Control-M experience is a strong plus - Experience developing in an Agile team setting, using Kanban and/or SCRUM - Experience working in a DevOps and CI/CD environment - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience - Ability to think outside the box and design end-to-end solutions - Passion and intellectual curiosity to learn new technologies and implement robust, scalable solutions - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple teams across the organization
