Requirements

Must:
- A profound understanding of various programming languages. - Hands-on experience in automating application deployment and managing pipelines. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in foundational development languages (KDB, Java, Python) is essential. - Proficient in Linux and bash. - Familiarity with Apache Kafka and similar event streaming platforms is advantageous. - Experience executing projects collaboratively in Agile teams (Kanban and Scrum). - At least 5 years of experience with user interface frameworks/platforms (e.g., Angular, React). - Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. - Experience with DevOps practices, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery tools (Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker). - Proficient in using source control for feature-driven development in Bitbucket/Stash/Git. - Familiar with Artifactory and API registries (e.g., Apigee). - Competence in automated deployment using uDeploy. - A willingness to learn new technologies and solve problems. - Experience with RESTful microservice architecture.

Responsibilities

As a Senior KDB+ Developer, I will be part of the Regulatory Reporting Technology team, responsible for constructing and upkeeping critical brokerage applications for our enterprise. I will collaborate with the regulatory reporting business team and other technology teams to develop applications for reporting across various asset classes which demand high levels of regulatory scrutiny. This role requires a keen enthusiasm for hands-on development and delivery, combining strong technical skills with involvement in architecture, design, and analytical activities.

The Regulatory Reporting Technology team is integrated within the larger Fidelity Brokerage Technology group. We closely partner with Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM) to build and maintain the necessary regulatory reporting capabilities to adhere to our regulators' stringent requirements. Our team is committed to delivering creative, comprehensive technical and data solutions for our partners. COVID Work Policy: Safety remains our utmost priority. Pay Range: $115/hr - $140/hr Placement within this range will depend on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, the candidate’s relevant experience, and additional factors.
