Requirements
Must:
- I require 8-10+ years of experience in Systems and Data Analysis within the IT field, with a preference for financial services.
- I seek candidates with expertise in data analysis, data modeling, and hands-on experience with Oracle/Postgres or other relational databases.
- A solid understanding of API Development & Testing, AWS (Cloud) Implementation, and Data Design is essential. Familiarity with UI Design and Workflow/Process Automation is highly desirable.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and analytics is preferred.
- I want to see experience in designing, managing, and troubleshooting batch processing systems for large-scale data workflows in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
- Familiarity with systems development methodologies and formal documentation processes is important; experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field is required.
- Candidates must possess strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.
- The ability to operate in a highly-matrixed setting, engaging with multiple partners and technical groups, is essential.
- Experience navigating a multi-application environment with various integrations is necessary.

Responsibilities
- Your role will involve leading and contributing to the technical vision for new products and delivering high-quality solutions.
- You will analyze existing IT systems and business models to identify requirements, impacts, and dependencies.
- Assisting in defining the scope and sequencing of work based on the analysis of new and existing system requirements will be part of your responsibilities.
- You will create user stories that provide clear system requirements for tasks such as API creation and updates, developing new or existing data stores, and enhancing user interfaces and designs.
- Producing use case documents and functional solutions to achieve project objectives will also be part of your duties.
- You will develop subject matter expertise in the product area and its broader domain.
- Participation in the development and review of test plans, including end-to-end strategies, will be essential.
- I expect you to take on various initiatives to support the growth of the Technical Chapter and Chapter Area.

As a successful systems analyst, you will be a vital member of an agile delivery squad, engaging with Squad Leads and Product Owners to gather and document business requirements, analyze current system states, define technology solutions, and collaborate with testers on test case preparation. The position will allow you at Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) to be part of a diverse, globally dispersed team responsible for developing and maintaining Fidelity’s Institutional Client Platforms and Products within the swiftly evolving Wealth Management space. You will work on analyzing and supporting both existing and emerging Managed & Advisory products and tools, collaborating extensively with other squads and business and technology partners. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of Managed applications and the business, aiding in the development of requirements and design for updated and new technology solutions.
