Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technology-related field (such as Engineering or Computer Science), with a Master’s degree being a plus.
- You should have at least 8 years of practical experience in deploying and/or supporting complex multi-tiered systems at scale.
- A minimum of 2 years is needed in Cloud development (AWS) and migration skills, along with experience in constructing and operating resilient platforms in AWS cloud environments.
- I expect you to have 2-4 years of software development experience using Python, NodeJS, or Java, emphasizing the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and automation.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes, is essential.
- You should also have experience in implementing and managing highly concurrent, distributed service-based systems.
Responsibilities
- I want you to automate processes using various scripting languages like Python and Shell scripting.
- You will be expected to manage systems using infrastructure-as-code tools (such as IAM, ARM, Terraform, or Chef).
- A solid understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts, including CI/CD pipelines, will be necessary.
- You will need to demonstrate hands-on skills and knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Experience with one or more observability tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog) is important.
- You will play a critical role in the monitoring, logging, and alerting of distributed systems at scale to ensure their scalability and resiliency.
- I expect you to adeptly handle root cause analysis and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Your communication skills should allow you to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You will be required to interpret large datasets using query languages and visualization tools.
