Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- I possess over 10 years of professional software development experience, including more than 3 years working with kdb+/q systems.
- I have a strong grasp of kdb+/q tick architecture, UNIX OS internals, low-level networking, and CPU architecture.
- I am proficient in designing and maintaining unit tests using frameworks such as QCumber.
- I am skilled in building applications with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
- Experience with C/C++ or Golang is a significant asset.
- I am familiar with Equities Electronic Trading, including Smart Order Routers, Market Data, or Order Management Systems.
- I have advanced scripting capabilities for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
- I have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Git and Jenkins.
- I have a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across complex technology stacks.
- I possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- As part of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT), I am dedicated to leveraging emerging technologies to create innovative products and services that enhance individuals' financial lives.
- I will support a startup investing app within FCAT, collaborating with a team that has a diverse set of skills across product, growth, service, and leadership organizations to develop measurement strategies and deliver insights from various data sets.

Placement within this range will depend on job responsibilities, geographic location, the candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
