Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Salesforce deployment roles
- Practical knowledge of Git for version control
- Experience in conducting peer reviews in a development or release workflow
- Ability to diagnose and resolve deployment and metadata issues
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with Flosum for deployments and org comparisons (preferred)
- Exposure to code quality tools such as PMD, ESLint, and SonarQube (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce metadata, including Apex, LWC, Flows, Custom Objects, and Permission Sets (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute Salesforce deployments across various environments including development, QA, UAT, staging, and production
- Maintain and support Git-based version control, engaging in branching and merging activities
- Conduct peer reviews of Salesforce metadata alterations and pull requests to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Validate Apex tests, evaluate code coverage, and assess deployment readiness
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, including failures and metadata conflicts
- Support sandbox refreshes and prepare data in alignment with environments
- Collaborate closely with developers, administrators, QA, and release teams to coordinate deployment efforts
- Document deployment protocols, release steps, and environment settings
- Ensure that release processes comply with internal controls and audit requirements
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of deployment procedures and release management practices
