Requirements
Must:
- Comprehensive understanding of application security frameworks, including secure application development and risk mitigation techniques
- Strong technical proficiency with security technologies, such as Identity and Access Management, cryptography, and key management
- Proven experience designing and implementing identity management solutions, including single sign-on and federated identity management
- Ability to translate business goals into architectural solutions with experience in diverse architecture patterns
- Significant expertise in creating highly scalable and low-latency applications
- Proven track record of converting concepts into practical implementations, including hands-on proofs of concept
- Experience in developing and evolving strategies in alignment with enterprise direction
- Knowledge of security challenges associated with cloud environments, particularly AWS
- Leadership experience in security architecture teams and collaboration with security vendors
- Ability to mentor engineering teams on security best practices and oversee their implementation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for collaboration to generate innovative solutions for complex challenges
- Experience with application development in Java, SpringBoot, and Node, along with API development and consumption
- Familiarity with AWS application design, development, and deployment, and a variety of AWS services
- Solid knowledge of engineering practices and continuous delivery methodologies
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, ITIL, or similar
- In-depth understanding of cryptography controls and enterprise PKI operations
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within the Architecture Governance team to craft a secure technology strategy for retail brokerage customer experience
- Lead initiatives to enhance the cybersecurity framework and practices across Brokerage technology
- Work alongside Enterprise cybersecurity teams to align security measures with enterprise standards
- Engage with product owners, engineering, QA, and customers to foster relationships and drive collaborative efforts
- Translate business objectives into technological solutions, considering various architecture patterns
- Develop and implement robust identity management solutions, focusing on security and usability
- Design and construct high-performance and scalable applications while maintaining low latency
- Conduct hands-on proofs of concept to validate new technologies and solutions
- Shape and guide security strategies to match enterprise goals and engage relevant technology partners
- Address security challenges associated with cloud computing solutions, primarily on AWS
- Lead and mentor architects and engineers on best security practices throughout project life cycles
- Communicate effectively across teams to support knowledge-sharing and best practices in cybersecurity
