Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Networking, Information Systems/Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of solid experience managing and operating the HashiCorp Vault application
- Proficiency in systems and application management on Linux/UNIX platforms
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically having developed or migrated applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledgeable in networking fundamentals, firewalls, and load balancers
- Experience in creating automated pipelines and deploying with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Chef, Artifactory, AWS CloudFormation Templates, Terraform, EC2, Lambda, Docker/Kubernetes, and KMS
- Ability to develop advanced, customized workflows and automate processes for vendor applications
- Strong scripting and automation abilities, particularly in Python and Ansible
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey information to both technical and business stakeholders
- Proven track record in leading small technical teams
- Capability to independently execute systems design and architecture tasks to fulfill technical goals and align with business needs
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of and manage Fidelitys HashiCorp Vault application within the Privileged Access Management team
- Design, develop, and enhance access management solutions that comply with our strict cybersecurity policies and standards
- Administer essential production environments, focusing on monitoring, upgrades, performance optimization, and capacity planning
- Ensure disaster recovery readiness and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) through process automation
- Analyze key performance metrics and trends to drive informed decision-making
- Participate in Agile sprint planning to establish project priorities and provide achievable timelines
- Contribute actively to initiatives aimed at improving team efficiency and workflow velocity
