- Over 10 years of experience in developing Java-based and messaging-driven applications, with proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, API design, and multi-layered Java/J2EE architectures - Background in the financial services sector, ideally with Asset Management Technology experience related to Alternative Investing involving Derivatives, Liquid Alts, and Private Equity - Proven experience in providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members - Practical knowledge of cloud platforms and container technologies, including AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies such as GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, and Stash - Strong comprehension of relational databases, SQL, and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks like JPA and Hibernate - Expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices - Experience in database schema design, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and transactional SQL in DB2/Oracle - In-depth knowledge of Git and branching strategies - Skilled in resolving intricate technical challenges across various technologies - Dedicated to maintaining code quality through efficient code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing - Experienced in managing technical deliverables across both internal and external teams - Active contributor to process improvement initiatives to boost team productivity - Highly effective in agile project delivery settings - Collaborative with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, assess code quality with Sonar, and manage resilience and service processes using HP Operations Orchestration, HP Service Manager, and ServiceNow - Experience in project and people management is a significant advantage - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
