Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex, scalable web applications.
- Proven ability to lead intricate projects through the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), from gathering requirements to post-launch maintenance.
- Proficient in modern front-end development, especially with Angular and its ecosystem; experience with additional UI frameworks such as React or Vue.js is advantageous.
- Strong back-end development skills, primarily in Python and its web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server); strong SQL skills are essential.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design principles and standard software design patterns.
- Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow technology partners.
- Experience with data visualization and UI component libraries.
- Solid foundation in financial services with a grasp of investment risk; progress towards FRM or CFA Charter is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of complex full-stack applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Define and oversee the technical architecture for both new and existing web applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior team members, establishing and upholding coding standards through code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts and other business users to convert business requirements into robust and user-friendly technical solutions.
