Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree, ideally in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
- Minimum of five years experience in Financial Services, with a solid knowledge of investment instruments and financial markets
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth understanding of liquid alternative investments, multi-strategy funds, long/short funds, ETFs, and hedge funds
- Strong familiarity with asset management back-office operations, mutual fund accounting, complex fund structures, and derivatives
- Practical experience with FIS InvestOne and SS&C Geneva accounting platforms
- Ability to analyze complex and unclear issues, providing innovative solutions with clear and effective presentations
- Self-motivated team player who works well independently as well as collaboratively with minimal oversight
- Proven proficiency in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation
- Strong affinity for data: sourcing, utilization, and interpretation
- Skilled at translating business needs into actionable business and systems requirements
- Highly inquisitive and driven learner with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must convey ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
- Ability to approach challenges with creativity, advocating for improvements to reduce risks and foster positive change
- Capacity to navigate ambiguous situations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to progress and engage others

- Competence in understanding the technology and software architecture of applications

Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the onboarding of Alternative Instruments within Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO)
- Facilitate communication between product delivery teams and stakeholders to address the specific needs of Alternative fund structures
- Collaborate with various internal teams to streamline operations for this crucial business sector
- Consult daily with Alternative Investment Sponsors, clients, and internal stakeholders, including legal and compliance teams
- Advocate for the Alternative product set and the broader FFIO organization, influencing systems and architecture design based on complex needs
- Lead initiatives of diverse scope, acting as the principal liaison between end-users, product management, and systems teams
- Assess complicated business requirements with business partners and translate them into effective solutions
- Support the product teams commitment to quality by developing and implementing tests that fulfill business needs and ensure effective delivery to end users
