- I am proficient in container technologies, particularly Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS) and Docker.
- I have a solid understanding of the software development and delivery lifecycle for large-scale systems.
- I am capable of designing and implementing automation and infrastructure solutions using programming languages such as Python, Groovy, Shell, and NodeJS.
- I have experience with build tools and package managers including helm, maven, npm, and pip.
- I am familiar with observability, monitoring, and logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or other OpenTelemetry/APM tools.
- I have experience troubleshooting and resolving complex CI/CD pipelines, release issues, and multi-component system environments.

- As a Principal Search Engineer on our Search Platform team, I will play a vital role in shaping, developing, and optimizing our search and content discovery platform, catering to millions of customer requests.
- I will be responsible for implementing and refining hybrid search solutions, utilizing AI/ML techniques to enhance search relevance and user experience.
- My duties will include building, managing, and automating cloud infrastructure to ensure robust and high-performance search functionalities for both internal associates and customers.
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative search solutions, contribute ideas for product enhancements, and continuously elevate my technical skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

- I hold an advanced degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or possess equivalent professional experience. - I demonstrate a proven ability to lead technical efforts from initial concept to production deployment and excel in translating business needs into scalable, effective search solutions. - I work collaboratively across organizations to drive successful outcomes, and I have a passion for learning new technologies, particularly in the search and AI/ML domains. - I am comfortable operating within a polyglot development environment and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The base salary range for this position is between $107,000 and $216,000 USD per year, with placement in this range depending on job responsibilities, location, candidate's experience, and other relevant factors. This base salary is just a component of the total compensation package, which may also include bonuses or other variable compensation.
