Requirements
Must:
- I possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- I have over 10 years of experience in deploying and supporting highly distributed, multi-tier systems at scale.
- I hold more than 3 years of experience in a technical leadership or people management role, demonstrating a proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
- I have substantial hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (preferably AWS and Azure); certifications are a plus.
- I possess a strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud-native architectures.
- I have demonstrated experience in spearheading complex technical initiatives using Agile methodologies.
- I am proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Shell, etc.).
- I have experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, ARM, Chef, etc.).
- I possess a sound understanding of cloud infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking, security).
- I have expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- I have solid programming experience in both compiled/OOP languages (Java, C#) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- I possess extensive knowledge of observability tools and practices (DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.).
- I have experience with instrumentation, monitoring, logging, and alerting for distributed systems.
- I demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially under pressure.
- I can interpret large datasets using query languages and visualization tools.
- I possess excellent communication skills, effectively engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- I have a proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of high trust and high performance.
- I have experience with performance reviews, career development planning, and managing team capacity.

- I will define and implement a thorough reliability and observability strategy to ensure systems are consistently available when customers require them.

Description
Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) group within Enterprise Infrastructure blends operational excellence with developer experience to deliver highly available, scalable, and resilient services through automation and infrastructure as code. We integrate reliability into our ecosystem by applying best practices in Resiliency Engineering, Automation, Observability, and Chaos Testing. Most roles at our company are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a company office. This policy does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
