Requirements
Must:
- I have over 5 years of experience in securing infrastructure, platforms, and ensuring compliance.
- I possess a proven track record in a consulting or advisory role.
- I understand and actively promote security best practices across all levels of the organization.
- I have a strong comprehension of cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure.
- I have experience in securing data platforms like Kafka, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- I am familiar with multi-tenant platforms or service delivery models.
- I have knowledge of continuous compliance and auditing methodologies.
- I am skilled in scripting automation or software development using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or NodeJS.
- I have implemented infrastructure-as-code concepts and technologies.
- Exposure to securing Artificial Intelligence systems is a plus.
- I possess a curious and self-driven nature, able to learn how systems function and integrate while identifying risks and opportunities for enhancement or innovation.
- I am passionate about security, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
- I can adapt to change and handle context switching efficiently.
- I have the ability to design the future direction of security capabilities and controls.
- I have empathy and communication skills to convey complex subjects clearly to colleagues with diverse business and technical backgrounds.
- I can collaborate effectively with global teams.
- I have a solid understanding of various cloud service delivery models, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS, leveraging technologies such as containers, APIs, data systems, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- I will identify opportunities to enhance our security posture and collaborate with security stakeholders, platforms, and application teams to execute or influence their implementation.
- I will provide thought leadership, influence, mentor, and educate others in building secure applications and multi-tenant platforms within the public cloud.
- I will design, scale, and deploy cloud security controls and services.
- I will leverage CI/CD tools to integrate security and governance capabilities into DevOps processes.
- I will bridge the gap between security and platform teams, motivating and clarifying the 'What, Why, and How' to address complex security requirements.
- I will offer security guidance and support to technologists developing platforms and applications.
- I will collaborate with audit and risk teams to identify risks and validate controls.
Description
At Fidelity Enterprise Cyber Security (ECS), our mission is to safeguard the firm while empowering innovation among Fidelity's application teams to advance more swiftly. We recognize the vast potential of modern computing paradigms, cloud computing, and open-source software to expedite development and reduce costs. We unite Architecture, Infrastructure, Development Tools, Security, Operations, and Program Office functions to build, configure, and maintain both internal and external cloud infrastructure and platform offerings that provide essential resources for application teams. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring team members to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to fully remote or onsite roles. Please note that Fidelityโs operations are governed by provisions of various regulatory acts and could affect eligibility based on certain criminal histories.
