Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field
- At least 6 to 9 years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or a similar area
- Proven experience in implementing integration solutions between asset management and procurement systems
- In-depth knowledge of software licensing models and vendor management practices
- Experience in developing and executing asset management processes and workflows
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex licensing data and metrics
- Proficient project management skills with a history of leading cross-functional initiatives
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to diverse stakeholder groups
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and execution of integration solutions between ServiceNow SAM/HAM modules and enterprise procurement/vendor management systems
- Establish and sustain Software Asset Management processes, policies, and procedures across the organization
- Monitor software license compliance activities, ensuring adherence to vendor agreements while optimizing license usage
- Collaborate with IT Procurement to create efficient software acquisition workflows and vendor management strategies
- Develop National IT contracts and software entitlement processes to ensure compliance and optimize resource allocation
- Ensure the correct implementation of software discovery tools to maintain an accurate inventory of deployed assets
- Evaluate software usage data to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities and propose optimization strategies
- Generate and present executive-level reports on software asset status, compliance position, and financial implications
- Work together with IT Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to enhance software lifecycle management
- Provide expertise and guidance on complicated licensing models and compliance requirements
- Initiate continuous improvement strategies for the Software Asset Management program
