Lead DevOps Engineer with AWS expertise

- Over 7 years of proven experience in software engineering and DevOps - Extensive background in SCRUM/Agile software development methodologies - Proficiency in deploying and managing Continuous Integration tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, or Bamboo - Expertise in utilizing cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Docker, Podman, and Helm - Familiarity with integrating Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools like Checkmarx - Knowledge of code quality scanning using tools like Sonarqube - Experience in automated testing solutions for unit, integration, and system testing - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or related fields - Strong familiarity with cloud technologies, primarily Azure and AWS - Proficient in using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Chef for infrastructure automation - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes on platforms such as AWS ECS and AWS EKS - Skill in programming languages such as Python and C++ - Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Datadog - Experience with SQL databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases like AWS DynamoDB and MongoDB, and graph databases like Neo4J - Familiarity with project management and workflow tools like Jira and Agile methodologies - Proficient in cross-platform scripting and build tools such as Python, ANT, Artifactory, and MS Build - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles using C# or similar - Ability to design scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines - Understanding of deployment strategies using Docker for containerization - Experience with pair programming with GitHub Copilot - Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate protocols, processes, and cloud architecture
