Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering or a related discipline is required. - Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is essential. - Proficient engineering and analytical abilities. - Strong systems and computer expertise. - Excellent communication skills, including adeptness in presentations. - Capability to devise and execute operational and budgetary plans. - Knowledgeable in creating business and operational tools. - Competent in developing analytical models for engineers and operations. - Required project development and leadership skills. - Ability to design and facilitate technical training programs.

Responsibilities

- Spearhead the evaluation and implementation of manpower, systems, and corporate projects to minimize operating costs and bolster revenue. - Develop and execute operational strategies, perform studies, and create models and analytical tools for engineering and operations. - Lead enhancements of business processes and operational instruments to achieve global excellence. - Prepare, assess, and oversee both short-term and long-term plans regarding expansion, new product launches, regulatory compliance, and manpower requirements. - Design efficient distribution plans to optimize package volume management. - Supervise projects ensuring that suppliers and contracted services adhere to established policies and regulations. - Monitor and evaluate productivity, service levels, and cost-effectiveness, proposing improvements as necessary. - Direct and participate in special teams tasked with enhancing corporate or operational productivity and performance. - Investigate and recommend emerging technologies and methodologies in business and management. - Manage project initiatives, delineating tasks, priorities, timelines, and activities. - Create project and communication plans along with status updates for stakeholders. - Develop specifications, solution designs, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout system development and testing. - Lead efforts to integrate innovative engineering concepts into operations for the benefit of FedEx and its clients. - Assess capital and expense requests within budgetary processes. - Formulate project and operational budgets identifying potential cost-saving measures. - Analyze and report financial and operational metrics for both corporate and departmental initiatives. - Prepare and present business justifications to facilitate funding approvals. - Design and provide technical training to personnel via workshops, seminars, and personalized sessions. - Foster cooperation between operations and corporate departments, sharing technical and local expertise related to initiatives and operations. - Perform additional tasks as assigned.
